Teddy Rocks Festival
Teddy Rocks Festival is a multi-award-winning, family-friendly music event held annually at Charisworth Farm in Blandford Forum, Dorset.
The festival was founded in 2011 by Tom Newton and his family in memory of his 10-year-old brother, Ted, who passed away from a rare bone cancer. What began as a small pub gig raising £400 has grown into a significant event, raising over half a million pounds to support children with cancer and their families. All profits from the festival are donated to Teddy20 and other partner cancer charities, funding hospitals, research, and direct support initiatives.
I’m proud to support the Teddy Rocks Festival each year by volunteering behind the bar for the full three-day event. It’s a cause close to my heart, and I’m committed to giving back by contributing my time and energy to help raise funds for children with cancer. Supporting local charities and making a positive impact beyond business is something I value deeply.
This photo was taken on day two of the festival (I’m on the right) during an unforgettable weekend where we surpassed the previous year’s record and helped raise over £200,000 for charity across the three days.
